Keeping It Canadian – October 1, 2011
Our resident Sommelier John Brass will guide you through a comprehensive and sensory tasting of Syrah. Taste several vintages from around Canada paired with select cheeses and see how the different terroir lends unique characteristics to each wine. Afterward roll up your trousers, take off your socks, and have fun with an old fashioned grape stomp.
Great fun for all ages and FREE OF CHARGE. This event starts at 1pm and should end around 4pm. Due to the nature of the event, if you arrive late you may miss out on crucial Syrah information (and maybe even more importantly…tastes). Hope to see you here.

Winter Wine Festival – January 19, 2011
Taste of Sun Peaks held at the Delta Sun Peaks Hotel. What a fun event!!! There were eight wineries and a number of catering/food outlets in attendance. Chefs from the various food outlets suggested wine pairings to go with their fare. My favorites were the pulled pork sliders paired with our Syrah and sushi paired with our Gewurztraminer. Great wine, fabulous food, good music and a lovely venue. An excellent event all around.
Fall Wine Festival – October 9, 2010
This year Camelot Vineyards put on a free event for the Fall Wine Festival – it was held from 1-3pm. Our Sommolier John Brass brought a sampling of Merlots from across North America. He talked about all the good stuff we winies like to talk about when tasting and comparing wine – in this case – Merlots in particular.
After his talk, there was a tour of the winery. Camelot Vineyards does all the work that is needed to get the grape into it’s final form for the bottle. Guests also had the opportunity to crush grapes with their own bare feet. Then it was off to the tasting room where everyone got to taste Camelot Vineyards other varieties. Not a bad way to spend a part of ones day.
